This is how I will work for you
1: Design conceptulisation
Meet & greet
- First meeting (Generally in person, by phone or if you are international we can video conference)
- Discuss your brief/requirements
Project planning
- Understanding your business objectives
- Scope out your requirement
- Create a proposed sitemap/framework (optional)
- Provide a written proposal or quotation detailing the key features/prices and our terms
Creative design phase
- Incorporating the user experience into the concepts, I will make the necessary decisions on how it will work
- Create your web design mock-ups for each concept as a series of JPEGs which will be emailed over to you
Your feedback
- You review my work, by first selecting a design concept to proceed with
- Then provide feedback for each mock-up
Design revisions
- Based on your critique, I will revise the chosen design concepts
- If you are happy with the designs, you will sign off my work
- Alternatively if you require any further revisions, let me know.
2: Website development
Design approval
- Now that I have received sign-off via email, I will begin the build phase of your new website design
Master Template development
- Depending on your requirements, I will turn your new web design into a beautiful master template or theme.
- From which, each of the child templates (key pages) will be produced.
Website build
- Now we have all of the keys templates for our theme/skin, they will be carefully converted into an HTML website or integrated into your CMS/ecommerce system.
Online deployment
- This is where your website will be uploaded to your web host, in a sandbox test environment that is only available for you and I to review.
- You will be able to view the progress as it happens.
Content population
- At this stage, I would generally populate the site framework with your content.
- In some cases my clients prefer to add their own.
3: Final review & launch
Feedback & final tweaks
- Once your new site is populated and we have reached project completion, you will be asked to provide your feedback.
- With your feedback, I will make any final changes.
Meet up and review
- This is a good time to meet up and look through the back-end of your website.
- I will be able to show you how you can update it yourself or answer any questions you might have.
Fine tuning
- Before we launch, I will activate any speed improvements or enhancements, so that your site purrs like a finely tuned turbo charged kitten.
Final SEO improvements
- If there are any final tweaks or suggestions I can make to improve your SEO, I will inform you of what we can do.
- I will also submit your website to all of the major search engines and configure your website analytics.
Huston we have lift off
- Now the engines are primed and they crew ready, I can flick the switch for T-Minus to launch.
- Then break out the bubbly!
